ZodPlay 0.9.5 beta for iPod Touch / iPhone.

Touch! Media goes in /var/mobile or root/Media/zodplay/.

Instructions:

Code: This assumes you have:

a) a jailbroken ipod touch / iphone running 1.1.x firmware (not 2.0)
b) an ftp client on your pc, and a server running on the ipod/iphone
c) an ssh client (ie putty) on your pc, and a server running on the ipod/iphone
d) enough space (20mb+) free on your apps partition - if not grab BossTool and run it

If you don't meet those requirements, get them sorted before proceeding. ftp server, ssh server and the

bosstool are available from the standard repos.


1. Download zodplayer
2. Extract folders to your desktop
3. Fire up your ftp client and connect to your ipod/iphone
4. Copy the folders across ( ./Applications/zodplay.app. and ./usr/lib/libzodttd_gcc_s.1.dylib )
5. Fire up your ssh client and connect to your ipod/iphone
6. Type: chmod -R 777 /Applications/zodplay.app [hit enter]
7. Type: chmod 777 /usr/lib/libzodttd_gcc_s.1.dylib
8. Copy some videos to /var/mobile if you're running firmware < 1.1.3, otherwise stick them in /root/Media/zodplay
9. Load up zodplay on your ipod
